Impact Resistance Testing

FTI performs impact resistance tests on glass, curtain wall, window, door, cladding panel, building envelope and glazed roofing systems in accordance with EN 12600, EN 14019, EN 13049, EN 949, EN 950, NF P 08-301, CWCT Part 15, CWCT Technical Note 67 and CWCT Technical Note 76.
Impact tests are carried out using standard-defined impact bodies and test arrangements, depending on the product type and project requirements. The applied impact energy is calculated based on the mass of the impact body and the drop height, and is expressed in Joules (J).
